Equipment

  • 1 Stand mixer or Blender
  • 1 Waffle iron

Ingredients

These Ingredients make:

1 Waffle burger
  • 50 g Wheat flour type 405 or gluten-free flour
  • 200 g Broccoli florets
  • 150 g Potatoes
  • 80 ml vegan cream cuisine
  • 1 Tsp Salt

Instructions

Make the dough

  1. Wash and roughly chop the broccoli florets. Cut the potatoes into small pieces.
  2. Put the broccoli, potatoes, crème cuisine and salt in a blender.
  3. Mix everything into a smooth mixture.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix again until a homogeneous dough is formed.

Bake waffles

  1. Preheat the waffle iron and grease lightly.
  2. Pour a portion of batter into the waffle iron and spread evenly.
  3. Bake the waffle until golden brown (approx. 5-7 minutes, depending on the waffle iron).
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make a total of 2 waffles.

Topping waffles

  1. Place a waffle on a plate and spread the cream cheese evenly over the waffle.
  2. Place the lamb's lettuce on top of the cream cheese. Cut the smoked tofu into thin slices and place on top of the lamb's lettuce.
  3. Cut the red cabbage into thin strips and place on top of the smoked tofu.
  4. Sprinkle the fried onions evenly over the red cabbage. Garnish with chili to taste.

Assemble and enjoy your burger

  1. Spread the second waffle with cream cheese as well.
  2. Place this waffle on top of the topped waffle.
  3. Serve the waffle burger immediately and enjoy.
