Have you ever rolled up a pizza? This recipe is not only delicious, but also perfect for a party snack or as a snack on the go. It combines the delicious taste of a pizza, but is handier and easier to enjoy.
I personally love this recipe and try it out again and again with different fillings. It is versatile, uncomplicated and definitely a hit at any party or as a delicious snack on the go.

Ingredients

These Ingredients make:

Pizza dough

  • 1 Pizza dough (550 g) finished

Covering

  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • 4 red onions
  • Oil for frying
  • 9 Slices vegan cheese (150 g)
  • 2 Hands full of fresh spinach

Sauce

  • 20 ml Oil
  • 200 ml strained tomatoes
  • 8 Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 Onions quartered
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Hand full of fresh basil
  • 1 Tsp Italian herbs
  • 3 Tbsp Tomato paste

Instructions
 

Preparation of the covering

  1. Cut 200 g of champions into slices.
  2. Also slice 4 red onions.
  3. Fry the mushrooms and onions in oil until golden brown and set aside.

Preparing the sauce and preparing the pizza dough

  1. Puree 20 ml oil, 200 ml strained tomatoes, 8 cherry tomatoes, 2 onions (cut into quarters), 2 garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 handful fresh basil, 1 teaspoon Italian herbs and 3 tablespoons tomato purée.
  2. Roll out 1 pizza dough (550 g).

Topping, rolling and baking

  1. Spread the fried onions and mushrooms over the pastry.
  2. Cover with 2 handfuls of fresh spinach.
  3. Roll up the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees/convection oven for 25 minutes.
  4. Enjoy warm or cold the next day.
