The potato gratin is an absolute highlight that is perfect not only at Christmas, but also for cozy evenings with friends or as an elegant touch at the turn of the year. Equipment

  • 1 Pan

Ingredients

These Ingredients make:

4 Portions
  • 1500 g Potatoes
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Onions
  • 200 g Smoked tofu
  • 450 ml Vegan cream (oats, soy...)
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 100 g Sprinkled cheese vegan

Topping

  • Fresh thyme

Instructions
 

Preparations

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
  2. Finely chop the garlic cloves and onions.
  3. Dice the smoked tofu.

Steaming and frying

  1. Fry the garlic, onions and smoked tofu in a pan.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the oat crème cuisine, salt, pepper, nutmeg and sprinkle of cheese.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together well.

Layering and baking

  1. Carefully lift the potato slices into the mixture.
  2. Fill the prepared potato mixture in layers into a prepared, ovenproof dish.
  3. Bake the gratin in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 65 minutes.

Serve

  1. Take the fragrant potato gratin out of the oven.
  2. Serve on warmed plates with fresh thyme.
